Coconut

Coconut has a high percentage of insoluble fiber as well as medium-chain, quickly metabolized saturated fats. The main component of these fatty acids in coconut is lauric acid. Coconut oil can improve heart health and reduce cholesterol levels. It also helps with yeast infections, caused by for example Candida or Staphylococcus and has antiviral and antifungal effect. Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, it can boost oral health and help with teeth issues. Lime

Lime is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, especially flavonoids and can be easily added to the diet, either in form of salad dressings or by squeezing a few drops in drinking water. Thanks to its antioxidant and vitamin C levels, lime is good for skin health and promotes collagen production. Due to high acidity, it can improve digestion and help with constipation treatment. Another benefit of citric acid is helping metabolism and weight management and like other citrus fruits, lime can reduce risk of kidney stones. Drinking warm water with lime juice can help relieve reflux symptoms.

Macadamia

Macadamia nut is native to Australia and has buttery, creamy texture. Like other nuts, it contains loads of healthy monounsaturated fats, making it beneficial for heart health and lowering cholesterol levels. It is rich in antioxidants fighting inflammation, especially flavonoids, as well as vitamin E. Palmitoleic acid or omega-7 fatty acid found in these nuts is good for skin and hair growth, heart health, prevents high blood pressure and diabetes and promotes fullness. Like other nuts, it aids weight management due to high protein and fiber and low carbohydrate content. Despite high fat content, some of the fats don’t get absorbed during digestion.
