Pepper

Pepper is loaded with vitamin C, much more than oranges and is a good source of vitamin B6 and antioxidants, especially carotenoids. Due to their presence as well as high levels of vitamin A, it is beneficial to eye health. Thanks to high amounts of vitamin C that helps iron absorption, it is a good choice for anemia treatment and prevention.

Pepper is technically a fruit, like tomatoes and zucchini. Red bell peppers have twice the vitamin C compared to green pepper and are sweeter, since the vitamin C levels and sweetness increase with ripeness. That’s right – red bell pepper is just ripe green bell pepper.
