Calcium

Calcium is important for building strong, healthy bones and teeth and regulating muscle contractions. It plays a role in heartbeat regulation and normal blood clotting. Calcium deficiency can lead to condition called rickets in kids or not reaching full potential height. Lack of it can also cause osteoporosis and low bone mass at later stage in life. Best sources of calcium are milk and dairy products, green leafy vegetables and some fish.
